XENIA — Darrell Suber, age 55, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Greene Memorial Hospital. He was born August 12, 1966 in Washington DC, the son of Orlando and Barbara (Mayer) Suber. Darrell was currently employed with ASPM (All Service Plastic Molding Inc.) in Vandalia. He graduated from Central State University, where he played football. He continued with CSU as the Defensive coordinator for many years, coaching when they won the NAIA Division I National Championship. He continued coaching at Benedict College in South Carolina before returning to Xenia. Darrell’s greatest passions were football and his family. He was fortunate to have made lasting friendships with his teammates and coaches throughout his many years of both playing and coaching, and considered the Marauders his extended family. A celebration of Darrell’s life will be held 12 Noon Thursday, March 17th at Grace Baptist Church, 109 N Main St., Cedarville, Ohio with Pastor Brian Hanson officiating. Burial to follow in Stevenson Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Thursday until the time of service at the church.
