James A. Reinmuth, “Jim”, of East Norriton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 16, 2022. He was 92 years old. Born October 25, 1929 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Albert and Roxane (nee Dissel) and the beloved husband of Betty A. (nee Krauss) with whom he spent 75 years of his life, 68 of those years married. Jim served his country proudly during the Korean War and was honorably discharged from the US Army. Jim worked at Hygienic Sanitation as an exterminator, affectionately known as “Jim the Bug Man” and worked his way up to Vice President of the company. After he retired he began working part time at Potter’s Penn Square Tavern where he earned a new nickname “Jim the Bartender”. Jim spent a lot of time in Perryville, MD and enjoyed his boat and fishing on the Chesapeake Bay. Jim loved people and thrived most when surrounded by friends and family. Jim lived by the motto “Be happy, every day is a holiday”. In addition to his wife Betty, Jim is survived by his daughter Cathy A. Printz, his two granddaughters; Crissy Printz and Nicole Printz (Chris Reaney), and daughter-in-law Georgia Reinmuth. He was preceded in death by his son Michael R. Reinmuth and his sister Judy Nahill (the late George). Relatives and friends are invited to share in Jim’s Life Celebration on Saturday February 26 from 1 PM to 2:20 PM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. His Memorial Service will begin at 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s name can be made to The Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
