ROBIN ANNICE SHEPPARD
PHILADELPHIA — Robin Annice (Cleaver) Sheppard was born on October 12, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA to Alma T. Aubrey and Robert O’Neal.
After her first 5 years of elementary school in Sharon Hill, PA, Robin completed her education in West Palm Beach, FL. Robin attended Roosevelt High School until 1970. As a result of federal court-ordered “desegregation”, she was a member of the graduating class of 1971 from the “newly established” post-segregation school, Twin Lakes High School – the first class of the Palm Beach County school integration era. After graduating high school, Robin briefly attended Marymount College in Boca Raton, Fl.
Robin had a kind-hearted and unassuming, loving and playful personality. Although deeply spiritual, she loved to have fun, dance and eat. She was loyal to her friends, and always willing to help when needed. She was the church mother at Crossing Res Sea Ministries in Rockingham, and her presence will truly be missed. Robin was deeply devoted to her family. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
After persevering for 26 years, Robin succumbed to a hard-fought health battle on March 16, 2022 and was “called home.”
Robin is survived by her devoted husband, Alvin M. Sheppard and her children: Tunesia L. Patterson, W. Palm Beach, Fl; Antoine Beaufort, York, PA; Rumeal Aubrey, Wilmington, DE; Alvin Hollis, Jamar Hollis of Pennsylvania and Tammy Sheppard, Georgia and her siblings: Sharon Weaver, Grand Rapids, MI; Cheryl Foust, Columbus, OH; M. Raenae Cain, Atlanta, GA; Wanda Sealy, Dawn O’Neal, Columbus, OH; Triesta Z. Hatten, W. Palm Beach, FL; Robert O’Neal, Cincinnati, OH; Ronald Aubrey, Pt.
